1. You will need this tutorial: A Mac Computer running Mac OS X 10.5 or higher Free Membership of the Apple Developers Group

Objective C is coded to iphone apps and OS X which made it a very hardcore mid-level language only recommended to serious person that desires to learn it.The iPhone's Graphical interface is coded using a Cocoa API subset. It is a very daunting task to learn this even for seasoned programmers but this is a site that is highly recommended as it has examples and source code for most apps. The theory behind SDK's or UI API's respective part is outlined briefly in each example.I'm thinking that you already know C or C++. The Apple objective C for me is not too comprehensive, but I think you can use it as a primer.
3.1 The first thing you will need to do to make iPhone Apps is to join the iPhone Developer Program. This program will provide you with the tools necessary to create an iPhone app, test it, and get your app into the iPhone store. There is a Standard Program for $99 and an Enterprise Program for $299.
The Standard Program is for people that are developing free and commercial applications for the iPhone and iPod touch. These applications will be distributed through the iTunes App Store.
The Enterprise Program is for businesses with at least 500 employees and will be creating applications for use with their business to be used on the iPhone and iPod Touch.
3.2 The next thing you will need to do to make iPhone Apps is to develop your application. Using the iPhone SDK you can create your application with ease. There are resources like videos and sample codes to help you create your perfect application. There are also technical documents and how to's that will help you through the whole process.
Some of the development tools include xCode which is the development environment. This will help you manage and debug your application. There is also a source editor to help you out along the way.
Other tools include the iPhone Simulator to run test and debug your application and Interface builder to help you design a user friendly interface with an easy drag and drop feature.
3.3 Once you have your application built you can test it on your iPhone or iPod touch to see exactly what your potential customers will see. Test in real time using the xCode application to help you debug the program and test through the 3G connection on your iPhone to see the true experience of your new and exciting app.
